The blue color is caused by copper and the greenish shades are caused by iron. Turquoise may be the longest used of all gemstones. Beads dating back to 5000 B.C. have been found in Iraq.Turquoise is said to be a stone for finding wholeness and truth.

This hand made one of a kind necklace combines four strands of turquoise stones that have been hand strung and tied knots between each stone. Six smaller silver beads have been strung between the turquoise stones along with one larger sterling silver bead. The clasp is hand craved jade.

Only one of these have been made. You will not see another person wearing this exact necklace. It is one of a kind.

It measures 18 inches in length. The pair of turquoise earrings on the sterling silver hooks are included in the price. If you were to purchase this in a jewelry store or department store it would be twice this price.

Also included in the price is a beautiful satin gift box and also a zippered satin pouch to use when taking this on a trip.
